IHMS schools are dedicated to providing an innovative response to the hospitality industry's need for leaders. The Private Hotel School is a registered and approved centre for the renowned international City & Guilds Group. We have a co-operation agreement with the internationally distinguished Stellenbosch University. We are a member of the USA National Restaurant Association (NRA). TPHS serves on the Management Board of EUROCHRIE, the official federation for Europe and Africa, of the International Council for Tourism and Hospitality Educators. The students of TPHS have the option to apply for accreditation by AHA-IHMS, at an additional cost. This process is administered by AHA and in recognition of the strength of TPHS qualifications. This accreditation provides access to complete a third year in the USA and serves as an international benchmarking of TPHS’s qualifications. TPHS is an approved centre by City & Guilds whereby our qualifications were assessed and approved to allow our students to register for additional certifications & examinations. This process is administered by City & Guilds and in recognition of the strength of TPHS qualifications.
