Sylvia is a natural organiser with a keen eye for detail. Planning parties and events has been part of her life for as long as she can remember. Sylvia wants to use her gift of hospitality, creativity and planning to bring people together in an environment where they can celebrate the special moments in life! She is a hardworking individual with lots of creative ideas; a natural leader who will take charge in any situation. Being very strong administratively, she makes a great event organiser. She has conceptualised and successfully executed over 100 weddings and functions and is known for her variety of styles and new ideas. She believes that creativity is a lot like looking at the world through a kaleidoscope. You look at a set of elements, the same ones everyone else sees, but then assemble those floating bits and pieces into an enticing new possibility. Sylvia has a National Diploma in Hospitality Management and work experience in various fields of administration, finances and management. Melanie followed a distinguished career in Hospitality Management. She started her career in the Spa Industry and managed Spas in London, Papua New Guinea and onboard luxury cruise ships. Her passion for service excellence and love for people soon led to a change in her career focusing on events, guest relations and eventually Hotel Management. Melanie spent several years living and traveling abroad, visiting 109 countries before returning home to South Africa in 2012 to continue her career in the luxury hospitality industry. She brings with her great knowledge gained through working for premium brands including Disney Cruise lines, Princess Cruises and the Cape Grace Hotel. To design bespoke journeys of excellence that make dreams come true and creating memories that last a lifetime. A real people’s person and a passionate traveller at heart, she loves exploring, camera in hand! Melanie is honored to be invited to share her experiences as a motivational speaker and she is a fierce brand ambassador for Special Events and Southern Africa as a whole. Elizabeth is a very talented floral designer with an eye for detail and interesting combinations of colour and texture. She has a natural gift to spot interesting and beautiful flowers in nature just to add that something extra. With a passion for flowers she makes creative floral designs for the sophisticated modern-day Bride to be. She work with the brides ideas and theme and add her magic to create something spectacular and different. With her calm peaceful personally she is the right person to have part of your wedding team. She operates good under stress and are creative to handle unforeseen circumstances. She has a wealth of experience and had the opportunity to learn from the best in the industry. She recently started Betta Lilly Floral design and partner with Special Events on a regular basis as florist. Sylvia and team were just amazing during our wedding planning journey!
