Plant Culture sells large mature trees and landscaping plants, offering over 200 varieties and 5 000 indigenous trees, all suited to the unique planting conditions of Cape Town and the surrounding environmental conditions. The bulk of stock is grown from seed, and landscaping material and plugs are generally contracted out to various growers who, with their specialised knowledge, assist us in producing the best quality material. Planting solutions include: full landscaping, irrigation design and planting services. Plant Culture is primarily a tree nursery situated in the scenic winelands region of Somerset West and Stellenbosch, 25 minutes from Cape Town. Located on two farms off the R310 and Vlaeberg roads, the nursery is ideally positioned as a niche supplier of large and mature plants to the Cape Town area. We sell direct to the public and the commercial green industry, and invite you to visit our nursery. Our nursery offers a variety of large mature trees and shrubs suited to the Western Cape's unique conditions, all grown within the local climate. Established in 1998, we have extensive experience and knowledge of what will flourish in your area. Our stock is grown from seed and cuttings collected from existing stock or local well-established plants, and as our trees are grown in containers, they are ready for planting all year round. Services offered We offer either a supply-and-planting service or simply supply of plants to enable you to create your own garden retreat; efficient service and professional advice comes free! If you already have a garden design or landscape contractor, we will happily cater to your needs and grow specific plants for your project. Our team of horticulturalists and landscaping experts will assist with landscaping design and irrigation installations, or general advice on practical aspects of garden design such as focus trees, hedges and screening, soil types, and landscaping for different climate conditions.
