As Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), Suné has a focus to align the portfolio of businesses within the LSP group in an optimal way. The role relies on being a creative thinker and passionate collaborator, both to enable competitive advantages in the existing portfolio of businesses as well as incorporating new ventures. She adds value by bringing broad and thorough cross-boundary business experience. This experience was gained in companies which range from senior management positions in large blue-chip companies to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME) and young entrepreneurial start-up companies. Suné has been involved in work with a strategic focus both in corporate business as well as tertiary institutions where she has been lecturing at the University of Stellenbosch Business School and others. Suzaan was appointed as group CFO in 2016 and is responsible for the financial affairs of the group. She is a qualified CA (SA) who started off her career as external auditor in the auditing and accounting profession, being exposed to a number of industries. Prior to joining the LSP Group, she was employed by companies involved in the engineering and mining sectors. Suzaan is overseeing all financial operations of the group, being responsible for the financial planning, financial reporting and management of financial risks. He then realized his passion for projects when he joined a Project/Risk Management Company in he championed various High Risk projects in the heavy engineering arena including the 28MW round furnace at Lonmin (Western Platinum) with HATCH Africa as a Multi-disciplinary Project Engineer, for which they received an Award of Excellence. Subsequently we have set up numerous client based Project Offices built on measurable Service Level Agreements.
