Optom degree at Rand Afrikaans University (now University of Johannesburg). She is passionate about delivering top quality examinations and products. She has also obtained a Certificate in Advanced Studies from the Graduate Institute of Optometry and continues to educate herself through a variety of courses and lectures. She has gained experience in various optical practices around South- Africa. She enjoys working with a wide variety of people, complicated dispensing cases, frame repairs and adjustments. Both of them are a joy to work with and they are very experienced in their respective fields, optical dispensing and optical administration management. Lightec is French designed and the frames are extremely light, yet tough, due to the use of clever technology such as screw- free hinges and modern materials. This year you will see some exciting spectacle frame ranges at the practice. Every year, around June, we send new and second hand reading spectacles to Francois and Alta Rauch at LoveWinsAfrica. They distribute the spectacles to adults in their adult literacy classes in Mozambique and Malawi. So next time you can’t find your reading glasses, spare a thought for those without any reading glasses. You can drop of your old reading glasses at the practice, we will service them and get them ship-shape to be sent off to Mozambique and Malawi.
